Is a two week notice required when designing at end of year for next school year? We are relocating out of state but do not want to reveal this until end of year.

If you have a good relationship with the principal, I would go to him/her near the end of the school year and advise of your plans. You will probably be asked to put that in writing for HR. Paras here are hired over the summer for the upcoming school year. Sometimes, not until the school year starts to be sure students needing paras do not transfer out of the system. This of course is if you are working for a public school system. I don't see any reason to announce this sooner unless you know it will not affect how you are treated or whether they allow you to finish out the school year. In that case, it might be helpful for that principal to know in order to plan for next school year.
