Hair cut for men- how much

DH mentioned that his barber is now charging $24 to cut his hair- that seems like a high price but I have no clue how much men pay for their haircuts. Is this normal price?

I think here you can get a hair cut at a decent place for $15. A not decent place for like $7...

Sounds like a lot since I just got mine washed and cut, and eyebrow wax for $20. But I live in a small town. Not sure what she charges for men.

I take my boys to a small local barber and he usually charges $15, but charges $12 for kids.

He’s got to have very minimal overhead costs because he’s in the building his parents used to cut hair in, nothing fancy.

We pay around $25 for our son (just graduated from college so now he can pay for it!). My DH goes to a small town shop and pays around $20.

About $25 for a men’s cut at a barber shop around here. Not many “hole in the wall” places left though - mostly upscale barbers doing fades, cuts, etc.

DH goes to Sports Clips and Great Clips kind of places for $14 plus tip. That doesn't sound bad for an established barber.

My DH gave up on barbers, because he gets his hair buzzed so he bought himself a set of clippers and now DD 17 does his hair and has been doing it for 4 or 5 years.

I believe my husband pays $40 before tip. That's pretty standard around here.

In my area, $10-12 is the cheapest/usual I've seen. One fancier place is about $23.
