Phonological processing disorder.

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I have a third grade student that has been diagnosed with a phonological processing disorder. The student has an ISP, yet the ISP specialist wants me to come up with a plan to help him with this issue. I am so confused isn’t that her job? I am just a regular teacher. I am not the specialist and /or a Special Ed teacher, so I have no idea where to even began. All I know is that he is behind in reading and it’s said to be due to his phonological processing. He has a difficult time spelling and writing in addition to his fluency. Any feedback is greatly appreciated and welcomed.

Thank you in advance,

A Confused Teacher
