Tea travel mug recommendations

Iím looking for recommendations for travel mugs to carry tea that will keep it warm for an extended time and not affect the taste of the tea.

I have a Contigo right now and find that it really affects the taste of the tea.

I love my Tervis travel mugs. They are virtually indestructable, go in the dishwasher, and I never found the taste of the beverage was affected.

I don't know what kind of tea you drink, but I drink herbal ginger turmeric tea and I love my Yeti. Yes, they are pricey, but I put tea in it at 6am and it's still hot well into the afternoon. Also, it holds 20oz so I don't have to make more throughout the day.

I have the walmart version of the Yeti and it works just as well. My tea stays hot almost all day.

I have a hydroflask for my tea.

I recommend it hands-down. Mine keeps tea hot long after anything Iíve ever had.

Use it only for tea

One cup of coffee ruins the cup for tea forever. Contigo works well for me.

I have contigo. It keeps the tea so hot that it often takes awhile before I can drink it. (I do pour boiling water in) It stays hot for hours! I leave at 7 a.m. and have been drinking from it at 11 a.m. and its still good to go. It also keeps my coffee hot. I use it interchangeably with both with complete success.

If it is the metal you taste, you will need to find a glass lined thermos. Thermos brand makes some.
