Spent a few minutes here in a little park prior to heading to the airport for our return trip North.

This photo was taken with a lens ball after the snow we had earlier this week.

My Godaughter’s boy and I spent some time in the kitchen area of the local children’s museum. He was doing the cooking and I was provided the microwave noise and bell. We both had a good time.

I love the kid pics, thanks for the smiles.
We’ve had some pretty spectacular sunsets this week.

Almost forgot to check Friday photos!

Love those pics that show how a baby can change so much each month!
Beautiful morning sky!

Here is my sweet, old Lab. She’s not doing very well at the moment. It’s going to be extra hard going back to work on Monday since I won’t be able to monitor her condition all day.

Beautiful pic, Choppie70.
Hope your sweet dog does fine when you go back to work, arsabl. I understand your worry.

My DH and I gave alligator a try last week. It was okay. It tasted like chicken.

This is Lacey. She is rotten. When I first met DH, she peed on the couch where I had been sitting. Apparently I sat in her spot. She has since decided I’m okay. She usually sleeps by my head now.

Zipline- Is that Papadeaux? I love the sauce they serve with the alligator, but for the life of me, I have no idea what is in it. Ideas?

I haven't taken a picture all break, but enjoy looking at everyone else's! I have seen some great sunrise pictures on my FB from break, but haven't been up early enough to actually see them.

Yes, that was at Pappadeux. The dipping sauce is Creole so it has Creole spices. Maybe some creole mustard? I really don’t know.

I learned from our waitress that Pappadeux’s has an arrangement with Louis Vuitton that they use the meat (ranched) and Vuitton uses the skins.

Texas K-girl, those cookies are amazing!

We live near the museum that houses the Spruce Goose and it was dressed as Rudolph for Christmas

Great photos everyone!

I'm taking part in the Cook90 challenge. This was New Year's Day dinner: Vegetarian Wellington. I'd make it again but add something spicy in the middle layer because I found it a little bland.

I don't post a pic every Friday, so this is Christmas dinner. I'd asked on here for what to serve with goose.

We ended up with mashed potatoes, stuffing, and sauteed brussel spouts tossed with cranberries, pecans, a ginger bueberry balsamic. We had apple pie for dessert. It was sooo yummy!

We're thinking goose is our new Christmas meal.

DS and ddil...two NH kids who want to be Texans. This was taken on a recent vacation. Think they’ll fit in when they make the move?

DH’s car got sideswiped the other night. They left this, thankfully. We actually figured out the correct phone number .

Choppie: I saw those advertised all over in December . It’s beautiful.
