Hulu changes?

Maybe they've been around for a while, but it's annoying!

For Christmas, we got a new Roku (so we could get Disney+) and a new Tivo (because ours was over a decade old).

I love them, mostly. But the Tivo started recording on the wrong channel (why do we have two channels that look identical? We have antennae and something got messed up) and even when I tried to change it to the channel that worked (same number), it would say "already recording." So I didn't even know what shows I missed on what channels.

Then on Hulu, the shows I used to be able to watch if I missed an episode are now only "Live streaming," which costs an extra (big) chunk of money to access. What the heck? Is this new?

I realize this is a really confusing post because I can't easily explain what the Tivo is now doing and I don't have have the brain power to try right now

I noticed the Live-streaming thing on Hulu too, but I thought it was just CBS shows because CBS is locking them down to try to force people to subscribe to their own CBS All-Access channel. (It was a CBS show that I went to Hulu to try to watch.) I havenít checked on shows from other channels though.

Oh! That might be it-- I wonder if they were CBS shows.

I haven't had any problem watching CBS shows on regular Hulu - yet.
