Clip to ScrapBook #1

Kind of school related but needing help making a list of green food for St. Patty's Day. It's a major testing day for my kiddos and want to have some fun once the test end

green pepper strips, cucumber slices, green cupcakes made with a white cake mix, 2 3oz. pkgs. of pistachio pudding, and 4 eggs. Bake as package directs. (So moist, no icing needed.)

cucumber slices
lime jello
honeydew melon
celery (w/ peanut butter)
green grapes

If it's a testing day, you could have Lucky Charms cereal. It's "healthier" (compared to a lot of other junk food snacks), not messy, and can tie in with St. Patrick's Day and good luck for testing.

green bagels! A once-a-year treat from many bagel places

I also agree with the PP who said anything can be made green - just a little food coloring and you're set!

leprechaun pudding

My class will be making "magic leprechaun pudding" using pistachio pudding and sprinkling it with "gold dust" (graham cracker crumbs).

I love the Lucky Charms idea for testing luck and St. Patrick's Day all in one!
Hmmm...we need a little shamrock smilie symbol for this week!

Add green food coloring to butter and mix into popcorn for green popcorn. You could even make it candied popcorn if you like!

I made green jigglers one year and the kids loved them. I cut them with a shamrock cookie cutter.

would be fun to have the students try. Also, what about pistachios? Green Kool Aid to drink? Are there green Starburst? Chocolate chip mint ice cream is a beautiful color of green.
