Memphis ideas with kids

Looking for some ideas of things to do in Memphis. We have been to the zoo and the Pink Palace Museum. It looks like it will be pretty hot, so I'm wondering if anyone has other indoor ideas? Our kids are 13, 5, 5, and 3.
TIA

The Bass Pro at the Pyramid is pretty neat and even has a bowling alley. I want to take my kids to the Peabody Hotel to check out the ducks.

Friends of ours live in the area and enjoy taking in a baseball game with the Memphis Redbirds. Maybe you can go at night when the weather is cooler. Some also like to visit a place called Jerry's Snow Cones. http://www.jerryssnowcones.com/

Be safe! We stayed a night at a nice hotel across the interstate from the Bass Pro, and we were robbed. Our windows were smashed and all our luggage and shopping bags were taken. There were eight adults traveling in our Suburban, so it was packed to the hilt. Don't leave anything behind !

The Children's museum of Memphis is a great place for the young ones.

I live about an hour away and The Children's Museum is a favorite field trip spot. I second the Bass Pro Shop and also caution about leaving valuables in the car. There is an indoor pizza/arcade place called Incredible Pizza. It is kind of a Chuck E. Cheese type place but bigger and with more variety of activities.

All of the suggestions above are good ones. I live about an hour south of Memphis. Pink Palace, the zoo and the Children's Museum are good suggestions. It has been about 15 years since I did these with my kids, but these are all thriving attractions.

Redbird games are fun, but I don't love the panhandlers in the Beale Street area. I am a big chicken and not assertive.

Incredible Pizza is closer to Germantown. There are some SkyZone type trampoline places around there too. I think there is one in Collierville.

Mud Island is great for kids. Most of it is outdoors, but the river offers a nice breeze. Plus there is a museum and a cafe with air conditioning to escape the heat. The Fire Museum of Memphis is very cool. Both of these are in the downtown area; and yes, you need to be mindful of panhandlers and crime.

There is a Pump It Up in the Bartlett area which is a much safer part of of town. There is also a Putt Putt Golf and Games in East Memphis that has both indoor and outdoor activities.
