agreed...I've had NO snowdays in 25 years! We live in the mountains so we have great plowing.

Right there with you! I live in Southern California. I could really use a snow day or two this week. It will never happen, but I can dream!

We rarely have them, so they are not typically built into the calendar. This means if we do have a snow day, we have to make it up at the end of the school year. NO THANK YOU.

My FB memories informed me that I had a snow day (pretty rare around here) on this day several years ago. Personally I want the snow to stay away until the holidays are over. I'd rather have a snow day when we get back. Thankfully no snow in our forecast right now. The mountains were supposed to get multiple feet. So glad I don't live there anymore!

wish everyone had a snow day today! Monday during December, who doesn't want to sleep in?

On the other hand, if you knew how much $$$ we have to pay to get our driveway plowed, then snow kind of loses its appeal. And no, we can't snowblow it. Driveway is way too long.

Ended up with a snow/ice day, too. I know we will be making it up later, but it's worth it to me. Just needed the day off so badly.

Very treacherous over here on our first snow day 😂

I do kinda wish we had some snow, but itís rare for us to have snow before Xmas. So to have two delays and a snow day is pretty amazing ❤️ I think I read somewhere that we have 19 built in this year, so bring it on!

District calendar...

In their infinite wisdom, the BOE and Superintendent approved a calendar with zero snow days. They will add the on to the end of the year. They have already used one. It is supposed to be icy tomorrow, so hopefully, they can safely get away with a delay. This is when I am DEFINITELY glad I am retired!

We had a snow day.

It was ok where I live, but there are some mountainous areas in our county, which never get cleared in time. Plus, people here are really lousy drivers in the snow. It makes me crazy after 28 years of driving in the snow in New York.

No snow here, but a high of 34. And we had a walking field trip today, of course!

Ack Iím sorry GG. You should move out here and you too could have a cold rain day (I mean snow day). To be fair, when he called it, it did look like the snow would be going longer in the day. And...large county so variable conditions on the west side, lots of snow days and we donít get out any earlier if we donít use then.
Got together with two friends from my old school for lunch. Food was crappy but company was good.
I think everyone should get a random snow day in December.

And I actually hope we do go back tomorrow--as weird as that sounds.

Ugh. I am a creature of habit and want to stick to my routine.
