Can anyone recommend a good mascara? I like what I currently have, but I've been using it for a long time and have wondered about other options.

I always come back to Covergirl. For some weird reason, it's like the only brand that doesn't smudge or flake off throughout the day, for me.

I always go back to Mary Kay Ultimate. It doesn’t clump, flake, or rub off under my eyes during the day. It’s also washable, so I it removes easily.

Cover girl

I curl my lashes and use cover girl lash blast (orange tube). I get so many compliments and I never have an issue with clumping. I do not get waterproof because I like to be able to get the mascara off in the shower at night

Full 'N Soft by Maybelline. Works great. I do get the waterproof but if you don't want that, it comes in non waterproof as well.

It wasn't your question but I find that the primer I use makes the real difference. Opening Act by Tarte is a primer that I have been using for about 6 months. I have had so many compliments on my lashes since beginning it's use. My sister even asked if I had extention/fake lashes applied on a day when I simply applied the primer and one coat of the Full 'N Soft mascara. It is important to give the primer a few moments to dry before adding the mascara.

My go-to is Loreal Voluminous. I've used it FOREVER. Every once in a while I'll try something else, but I always go to back to Voluminous.

I like Superhero by IT Cosmetics.

I also like Dior mascara and primer.

I've used Loreal Voluminous for years. And I have used that classic green and pink Cover Girl on and off since I was a teen.
Several of my friends wear Younique and it is pretty amazing what a difference it makes in length.

I tried Younique and it really was great, except when it was time to remove it. I had a terrible time taking it off.

Another vote for L’Oréal Voluminous. It doesn’t irritate my eyes or smudge and it washes off easily.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I also really like the idea of using a primer first. I might try that.
