Sounds like a mom right up there with Falicity Huffman and Laurie Laughlin.

dad graduated from MCHS, and I am aware of the uber-privileged rich white folks who live in the Redondo Beach/Hermosa Beach/Manhattan Beach area, so this does not surprise me one bit.

Thatís so selfish and arrogant, not to mention just plain stupid. Did she not consider that others might find out and be angry?

DH and I walk to buy fresh fish and cheese from a shop although it is more expensive. The fish is better but we have gotten to know the owner, and we support the small businesses in our town.

DH and I are members of separate gyms, until he retires, because we are both loyal to our trainers. His trainer has become a good friend. That is the kind of people we are.

I donít mind getting blasted for the following comment about Erin Condren, both person and product.

I first heard about EC here on PT and purchased a LifePlanner in 2013-2014 even thinking then that they were incredibly expensive. Ever year since Iíve purchased a LP and even the Teacher Planner. I love the product as a stationery girl.

Correction to the article: Her son did the texting, and only a few in the large group wore masks.

I was livid that EC used the BLM as a way for her children to celebrate their graduation. It would not have worked a month before.

I still am deciding whether or not to purchase future products. What I am weighing are the 500 or so employees that had nothing to do with her reckless act. From listening to and reading many social influencers have pulled their support for the brand.

It sounds like her entitled kid organized it. It isn't clear from that article if she even knew about it.

I have read the article and decided not to buy EC planner this year. I have purchased one for several years. I bought instead a planner and record book from Amazon and paid $30. The planner has lemons on it and has great stickers with it as well. I just couldn't support her using BLM to get personal gain. The cheaper price was nice too.

I think this is a fine example of the double-standard expressed by some in politics and the media. Mass gathering to protest perceived social ill? Fine. Mass gathering for any other reason? Too dangerous. Itís a shame the county health department wouldnít let them go through with their original plan that met the guidelines.

I think there is a lot of entitled, bad behavior by wealthy owners of various companies most of us regularly shop at. Just doesn't make it to the news.
For example, that D.C. Socialite who held a dinner party at her home with no masks, and ended up spreading covid (she was diagnosed a few hours after the part ended) is the daughter in law of the owner or President (forgot which, exactly) of Fed Ex...

Based on what was written, it sounds like her DD organized it all on her own. Got those skills from mom. Not sure Erin had any knowledge or anything to do with it. Didn't say she or the committee organized it. I'm not one to place blame yet. I usually don't jump on bandwagons.

When you read other articles you will see that Erin Condren herself was involved in it. There is also a previous post on this with links to some media coverage.

I saw that when someone posted that link here a few weeks ago- I did some looking at that time and couldn't find any articles that really specified how much she planned and how much was the kids' planning. This article implies it was all her idea, but then states things in a way that doesn't make it seem like that at all. But I don't really care to search around again. (I still think the whole situation reeks of entitlement, don't get me wrong, but I'm confused by some claims that aren't clear).

In any case, I've never bought Erin Condren stuff and have no plans to. I know some people really love her stuff and the few things I looked at online a while ago looked pretty cool, but not in my budget.
