I'm seriously considering moving the weekend before school starts, or, at the latest the weekend after.

Its actually a friends home. Shes moving to Philly for a few months and we've been talking about me moving in for quite awhile. She offered me free rent and utilities for August and September until my checks start coming in and I'm in a better place financially in return for feeding her kitty for her.

Its a nice little 3 bed room near the college I attended.

Is it close to your parent's house? If so, I think you could move in stages and just get your bedroom set up to start with.

Its about 15-20 minutes from my house. The bulk of what I have is bedroom stuff. My other things are in a storage unit and can be moved at will.

Go girl! You can do whatever you set your mind to do. IF this is your choice, then embrace it.
