Just wondering if you would offer me some suggestions for a good easy beach read....I love Nicholas Sparks, but am open to all suggestions.

Thanks so much!

I love Nicholas Sparks too, and also love Debbie Maccomber. She has several "series" that are all easy reads like Sparks'.

I just read a good beachy read. Last Night at Chateau Marmont, by Lauren Weisberger (something like that) - she also wrote The Devil Wears Prada.

It's about a NYC girl who's musician husband suddenly hits the big time and what happens to them after that. Pretty interesting and entertaining.

I don't know if this is a beach read, but if you haven't read The Help yet, go get it! I am re-reading it right now (refreshing my memory prior to the movie, which comes out in August).

I like Elin Hillebrand, Kristin Hannah, and Luann Rice. I also enjoyed the book 44 Charles Street by Danielle Steele this summer.

I also love NSparks...have read his entire collection. I really enjoy Denise Hunter, Charles Martin, and Patti Callahan Henry. I have read all of their books. I also really recommend Wednesday's Letters (can't remember the author). Happy reading!

Wednesday's Letters is by a guy nammed Jason F Wright. My wife loved that book. I'm more of a James Patterson or Ted Dekker kind of guy.

Imcrazed, is The Life of Pi the one about the boy on the raft with the exotic animals?

You got it! Life of Pi is a must read, but now that I think about it, maybe not a beach read.
