Field trip to Salem---Scavenger Hunt---Ideas needed

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I am taking a group of my MS/HS students to Salem to support their understanding of the Salem Witch Trials---I want to have them do a scavenger hunt/scrap book in conjunction with this.

Does anyone have any ideas what I can/should include? Or other activities I could do along with it or as a backup (some of my hs boys can be very---apathetic)

Thanks!!

I live very close to Salem and have been there with my students before. What are you visiting? Are you just doing the witch trials?

I know people who have done the "sign language" tour which is a scavenger hunt: http://www.derbysquaretours.com/scavengerhunt.htm

If you are going to walk the Heritage Trail you could have them find at least 15 dates on buildings, put them in chronological order, and then have them have a fact for each. I've seen this done as a picture form too, having them take pics in front of the places in teams.

Good luck :-)

I think that it is The History Channel that does a virtual tour of The Salem Witch trials.

EDIT***

It's not. It's here:
