Has anyone used the websites readingeggs or IXL?
I looking to buy one but not sure which one to go with.

I just found a great site GregTangMath.com
much cheaper than the other two I'm looking at.

Any other free sites you like would be welcome too.

Thanks,

abcya.com (one of my favorites for kids to use--math, literacy and more)
starfall.com (literacy)
http://www.theschoolbell.com/Links/Dolch/Contents.html (great ideas and printouts for practicing sight words)
http://illuminations.nctm.org/Activities.aspx?grade=1 (another math favorite--fantastic coin activities)
and more math:
www.funbrain.com/numbers.html
coolmath.com/
mathcats.com/
www.aplusmath.com
www.usmint.gov/kids/games/plinkysCreateACard/

They are all free.

I use both! IXL let's you do several questions for free each day. I have not subscribed to this one, but I do like it for a math review. Our school also subscribes to Reading Eggs. My kids are on it everyday. They really seem to like it! They can take a test before they start so they start on their level. It is great for your lower level readers, but my higher achievers last year asked to play every time they had their work done! When you create your class, every student is given a user name and password which you can change. You can then print off a card for them to take home and they can get on Reading Eggs there too. Students can also create their Avatar which they love to do!
We also use Starfall.com, Primarygames.com, Funbrain.com, and I use abcya.com.

We all use IXL and love it! It is worth the cost because kids can do this at home and you have records of who has used it and when. They also get virtual prizes that they love. I love the fact that it gives the students practice for every single objective I am required to teach.
