Because they stick. I find that dollar store or off-brand stickie notes, as cute as they are, just don't stick.

The ones with lines are the only ones I like. I give them to my students because their responses to reading come out a lot better that way. However, I always wondered why the ones with lines don't come in jumbo packs like the regular ones. I don't want 3 packs!

I moved from an apartment to my house 8 years ago. As I was packing up my desk/office area and kept running across pads of Post-It pads, I started to put them in a shoe box. More Post-Its?! I eventually dumped them into a super huge (15"x15" with handle) Ziploc and filled it. That bag is still half-filled and I haven't purchased another Post-It in 8 years.

If you have an iPhone, you have to get the app. they have afree version, but splurge and get the .99 cent one. It is great! It will take the pic of post its and arrange them and recolor them.

BJ's Wholesale Club has 6 packs of the lined ones, larger squares, with several colors in a pack!

I have a thing for them too! I love the fun shaped ones & the designed lined pads, but they're all good!

I believed this too as I hoarded post-its for years! Now, however, I have decided that next year will be my last. I look forward to retiring, but have zillions of post-its. I mean zillions. This year's kids will not be getting my standard warning, "Use them sparingly because they're expensive." If there is just 1 child in my class who loves post-its, he/she will be in heaven.

I am a post-it horder. I have been known to trade cute post-its for other stuff. I have quite a reputation among my co-workers. For a while, my local dollar store had various brand name post-its for $2. I snapped up everything I could find!

maybe we need a Post-It support group. I love them too.

When we cleaned out my mother-in-law's place so she could go into assisted living, I got all of her leftover Post-It notes.
