Gender neutral $25 gift

My family does a white elephant type exchange but with legitimate gifts, not jokes. I find it incredibly hard to get something that appeals to all ages, personalities, and both genders. My mom bought some bags of Starbucks coffee and mugs, which I thought was a decent idea but I obviously can't do the exact same thing.

Alcohol is out as there are several sober people in the family. No one really drinks tea either, and most of them aren't big on sweets (I so wish I inherited that gene).

Ideas?

I'm not sure how many links it will let me put, so if the link doesn't take you there, just copy and paste it.

This is great if several people are tech crazy and have lots of cords. Thinking of getting DH and DD this one.

We have two of these. Perfect to hook onto a backpack or purse. You can charge it regularly or set it in the sun to charge.

These would be handy if you live in a place that has cold winters.

We often take a jug of real maple syrup and a package of pancake mix. One year I found copper spatula and wisk at Home Goods and omitted the pancake mix.

Variety of nuts has always been a desired gift-sometimes paired with a really good cheese.

For work I bought a maroon insulated cup (YETI-like) and a thing of nice chocolates.

But if itís a really big group, and itís a game where people can steal gifts/generally play with spouses or other immediate family, then I donít necessarily buy something that EVERYONE will want... just some people. I figure they can steal, trade, give it away, sell it later.

Yes, that's tough to determine what ALL genders will like.

To make it easier on everyone in your family, why don't you guys pull a paper from the hat that says either MALE or FEMALE (containing, of course, the exact # of males in your family and females in your family), so at least everyone will have an easier time choosing something.

And when you're at your get-together about to do the exchange, everyone with a certain gender are given a red sticker to put on the outside of the gift somwhere, so whoever's turn it is, each person knows to pick from the male pile or the female pile of gifts (whichever gender you guys determined to have the red sticker on them).

I would love to have $25 worth of lottery tickets. My DB did this for me one year and it was a fun gift.

Target has the Google Home Mini on sale for $25 right now. The Alexa Dot is also only $25 at the moment.

You could do a movie night gift... small blanket, popcorn, candy, and a redbox gift code

Game night gift basket... Uno, Playing Cards, chocolate, you could add in an additional small game

I bought this because I also needed a gender neutral 25$ gift. My back was hurtIng because of a knot in my shoulder blade so thatís what made me think of it.

https://www.amazon.com/TheraFlow-Per...s%2C181&sr=8-8

It arrived yesterday. I couldnít help but try it out since I have time to order another one if I like it. I loved it! I slept through the night without my shoulder waking me up. It was a little sore this morning but not as bad as it has been. Now it doesnít hurt at all!

I also put together a bag of different popcorns. I bought Boom Chicka Pop popcorn, Skinny Girl, microwave popcorn, chocolate drizzled popcorn, Cracker Jacks, etc. You can buy @ lot of popcorn for 25$!

I often do a book. I just looked at the NYT bestseller list and there's some on there that would appeal to a wide variety of people. Educated, Becoming, or there was a Mitch Albolm book as well. You could add something like a mug or socks with it and say curl up with a good book!
