Do I stay or do I go?

I have several doctor appointments this week. 2 orthopedic 1 general and 1 gyno.
One of the ortho is to get a script. The other is a second opinion checkup where I needed to provide reports and pics from my surgery. My general appointment is because Iíve noticed my blood pressure has been high. The gyno is a month check up from having an iud put in.

Should I cancel these or should I maintain them? Iím just wondering if itís better to go now or wait and things possibly get worse.

Iím constantly worried that Iím going to get sick due to my immune system. So Iím not sure what to do.

Call your doctor's office and ask them to check *with your doctor.* Last Thursday I had a recheck appointment scheduled for 11 when my PA called at 8:30am that day and said we would do it over the phone. She reminded me twice that I'm at high risk because of being over 60 and having had pneumonia before so it was safer to conference over the phone. She told me she was going to order another X-ray but that she would send the order by mail rather than have me come in to pick it up.

Your doctors will know what's best for you to do.

My doctor called about my Thursday's appointment. They gave me the choice to come in or cancel. I cancelled because my mom drives me. My appointment was to check my progress on my infection. But I see a nurse RN 2xs a week.

If you have a reason to be concerned, you immune system I would call for the script to see if you could get it without going in. Do you really need to see the 2nd ortho now, would they even do surgery now? I would keep my general appointment because of your blood pressure. Since I never had an iud I don't know how important a monthly follow-up is.

Overall, I would call to see what could be done with a phone call and what I really need to do to see doctors.

Dont be surprised if they call you and ask you to do them by phone-My daughters doctors started calling on Friday to tell me all nonessential appointments are being made into phone appointments to help with social distancing.

Iíd be fine to not do the gyno or the second ortho. The first ortho I need to get a script for pain killers. They wonít give that unless I go in.

Thanks for the advice. Iíll be making some calls first thing tomorrow

Doctor's Appointment

I went to my oncologist for a six month checkup on Friday. It was an important appointment that I didn't want to reschedule. I had to be there because he does a breast exam and bloodwork. His office called me first to make sure I'm not having any respiratory issues.

I would go to the general practitioner appointment to get your blood pressure checked. You may also want to go to the first ortho appointment to get the script for your medication.
