My daughter miscarried today for the second time. We are heartbroken. How do I help her? I have never miscarried before and need advice in helping her through this and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of the miscarriage and your heartbreak. I will pray for your DD, her DH and you. I have no experience with this, although a colleague who miscarried last year named her child and took time off to grieve. ((Hugs))

I've gone through this with my dd. 1956BD has the advice I followed..listen and be there for her and her partner. Offering advice of any kind is not advised. Allow them both to grieve.

Are there any pregnancy loss support groups in your area? My sister joined one after she lost her baby and it helped her and her husband a lot. They are still very active in the group.

She could ask about them at her doctor's office.

I'm so sorry. I've been down that road. Listen. Give them time to grieve. I had a hard time around my due dates and holidays. Follow their lead as much as you can. Sending prayers for your family.

I miscarried 3 times before I had 2 beautiful daughters. My mother sent me flowers each time to let me know she was thinking of me. It was very sweet.

I am truly sorry for her deep loss. Witnessing our children in pain is the worst pain of all. Our DDIL had a miscarriage a little over a year ago and it was so painful for everyone. Just be there for her with your willingness to listen and let her cry on your shoulder. My prayers support all of you.

(((HUGS)))
