Rule the School

What do you do about those cliques whose mission is to acquire supreme power over the school and who have mesmerized and hypnotized the principal?

Thinking about hiding out in my room for the rest of the year.

Huh, I think you've hit upon the answer! I ALWAYS try to hide out in my room as much as possible so i think that's the way to go.
What are they doing to try to rule everything? Is it something you can ignore?

You will be labeled as negative and unsocial if you hide out too much. Be yourself,maintain your principles and be very careful who you talk to because some people are expending effort into getting inside the clique and will chat about you to get inside the clique. Don't hide too much and be superficially social.

I agree with Anna, be friendly and positve towards everyone. Be the first to say hello, give compliments, etc. then go in your room and teach.

I am falling in love with the Litany of Humility. In this situation, which I have faced, I do say the litany of humility. It helps me not be so bothered by this.

Here's the litany:

Be nice to everyone, teach your kids and try to develop hobbies and friendships outside of school. I'm where you are....and it is hard some days.

They are always there. Best idea is to ignore, keep your head down and do your job. Don't let them get to you.
