Websites for 5-6 yr. olds...

Hello! I'm a third grade teacher asking all of you for suggestions of websites that I could get on this summer w/ my son. He instantly wants to get on any website mentioned on tv, but I'd like to hit something more stimulating. He actually reads fairly well already. I know about Starfall.com. What are some of your students' favorites? Thanks!

This is my new favorite!!! You have to create a free account. It has videos and games for all subjects. Also, a great site to use with the smartboards.

Hi! My kindergarten students love www.literactive.com . You will have to register, but it is free. Lots of pre-reading activities! Have fun!

This is one that I use with my students to get DIBELS practice. It is divided into letters, sounds, segmenting, etc. My kids love the games on here.

I love jigsaw.com! You can choose from many different puzzles and choose how many pieces it is cut into from 6 (very easy) to over a hundred! I pick a different puzzle every day depending on whatever unit I'm on. It's great for practing mouse skills and just like regular puzzles, it's great for spatial discrimination-have fun!
