Share a fact that your think few people know.

I just read that Elvis Presley was really a blond. He started dying his hair in high school. He thought the dark hair gave him a edgier look. Who knew? I have seen photos of him as a child with blond hair but just assumed that it grew darker as he aged.

Today was Tom Hanks day for me. First I heard him on Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me. Then later I was reading and I learned he just wrote a book of short stories.

Mike Tyson had 58 total fights... 50 wins.. 6 losses 44 wins by knock out.

He also has over 750 pigeons and his first fight ever as youth was over an older kid in Brooklyn pulling the head off one of his pigeons.

I'm not a boxing or Mike Tyson fan... I did however read about him today.

A Bible in Braille is up to 39 volumes long and would be 6 1/2 ft tall.

Bill Bless ( designer) was a member of the Ghost Army. The Ghost Army was made up of all types of artists to create a diverision for the German troops in WWII. They made fact tanks, created fake radio messages, artillery firing. etc. Just thought it was interesting that there was a group of artists that were intsrumental in helping win the war. The US Government approached them and they willingly enlisted.

I did not know Tom Hanks was an author.

I had no idea the height of the Washington Monument.

I am not into boxing either but the stats do prove Mike Tyson is very successful at his sport.

I love the fact that there are so many states of matter! Wow! What about colloids?

Love the fact about the Braille Bible. I had no idea!

Hiker1 you fact just shows that creative people are capable of doing practical things as well as artistic.
