First date ideas?

So Iím boring, and apparently a little rusty with the dating thing. I hate first dates of going to get a drink or dinner.

Anyone got any fun ideas?!

Is there anything in your area like a riverfront walk etc. where you can take a walk and get some ice cream? How about a winery tour? Something where you can get outside, but still have the "safety" of a public place while you're getting to know each other. "Touristy" stuff that you may not have done (or done in a long time) can be fun in your own town.

Oops! No, that's not it. It's a website with a ton of ideas for creative dates. I should have added the word "the" to the link. Here it is:

*Walk around a big city. You can grab a drink and stroll around. It gives you a chance to see what the other person likes, plus it gives plenty to talk about.

*Local Festival (look online - there's more than people realize)

*Carnival

I guess I like big areas where there's plenty to see and it helps keep the conversation flowing. If it's flowing easily, you can always find a place to sit and chat a while. Then you're up and moving when there's a lull.

I would totally take myself on a first date to a chocolate lounge. And a second date. And a third. In fact, I could see myself getting in a serious relationship with myself and a chocolate lounge.
