My hair is cut is a short bob with it stacked in the back. I get a hair cut once every four weeks. I also have bangs. I finally cut my own bags but the rest of my hair has little to no shape left. It is driving me crazy!
I messaged my best friend yesterday and sold her my hair is now growing out instead of down. I've got super thick, curly hair cut into a pixie so I'm totally understanding the feeling.
Yes! Until about 6 months ago I had shoulder length hair that could have gone forever between cuts. Then I cut it short and have now missed 2 haircuts and while I did want to grow it out some, it really needs shaping! However, even if it was allowed, I don't know if I'd go for awhile.
I have not had it cut since February. It is already grey so dying is not an issue. I kind of like it long! It has layers which highlight the thick hair I have.
I also have bob and get a cut and color every 6 weeks...I’m on week 9. I actually like the length okay and plan on just getting a trim, but this natural hair color needs to go!
I dyed my hair myself today and think it came out pretty good.
My hair is longer than it's been in a long time. I wanted to grow it out, but keep it in some sort of style appropriate for my age. I have found that I can do all sorts of braids, like the braids I could do in high school. Unfortunately, they no longer look cute.
Cut and colored my hair today. I used to cut my own hair when I was really, really poor. I think both look pretty good. Of course, since I live alone and see no one ever, there is no one around to tell me the cut isn’t straight.
It lifted my spirits to this little bit of change for myself.
Mine hasn’t been cut in over a year :/ It’s so freaking long now, that it hits my butt when I get out of the shower lol!
I’ve also noticed I shed a lot more than I realized! I have super thick hair (when I go to the salon, it takes two people to blow dry it)- I’m vacuuming twice a week, and still finding hairballs all over!
I trimmed my bangs today, and I hope they look ok at my next zoom meeting. I have long, layered hair and never color it so that's helpful, but I'm ready for a cut.
I've always been brave (or stupid) enough to cut and/or color it myself. I've had it a variety of lengths over the years but lately--whooo boy! I need to leave it alone. It is fine but thick. There is one spot I cannot seem to get cut correctly right now.
I've cut at it so many times now while in isolation. I say I want to grow it out then I am snipping at it again... I will be bald-headed if I keep this up.
In an effort to slow myself down, I have taken to watching Hair Transformation Fails on YouTube. They are clips and compilations of people doing their own hair at home with disastrous results. They are funny and stomach-churning at the same time.
I have not had my hair cut since January. Its a short(not anymore!)bob. The hairlength on the top of my head has grown out long so it makes me look old and tired. By the time I get back there I will have no layers left. I also have my hair colored by an EXPERT because let's just say I am not handy that way. So now I have long almost white hair. Those stylists are going to be so busy when we all start making our way back to normal!
Well, today it is cooperating, though I had to use a round brush when blow drying it to help, usually I can just run my fingers through it to style with the blow dryer. Typically, none of my hair is more than about 1.5-2 inches long, so kind of like pixie length, but with lots of volume. Here it is at least 2.5 weeks overdue. No way I could cut it myself!
