Clip to ScrapBook #1

I have a co-worker who also happens to be the grade chair that doesn't respond to emails from anyone nor is a helpful leader. Currently we are having a difficult time selecting a meeting time, administration wants 3 different meetings on 3 different days. My co-worker has sent out emails asking for our opinions but when we respond, we hear nothing back. I am personally fed up with his lack of support and communication. He expects us to compromise because he has children and the majority of the team members do not and he lives a good distance from school. Why should we always have to compromise?

I hate when people use their children to hold hostage others. Yes you have children and live a distance, but we have lives too. You have the same rights as this jerk. I agree, cc admin on all emails and don't let him guilt you into doing something just because you all don't have children. That's bullying.

I agree wholeheartedly with Klarabelle. I am sick to death of the "I have kids" excuse. The only ones that do the extra at our site are the older teachers. Our experience, wisdom and extra work are not appreciated by anyone. Let's start a revolt

The administration has allowed them to get away with the excuse that they have kids for years, and are not much help.
