Need your amazing cures for a cold.

I have been fighting it off for two days, but it hit today. Leaving for California Tuesday morning. Just what I needed.

I bought fresh pineapple juice, lemons for hot tea and maple syrup or honey, powdered Vitamin C, and have the standard dayquil, nyquil, etc.

Nothing worse than traveling while sick. Have to feel better by Tuesday. And no chance of canceling. Oh, crap.

You could use the Flonase nasal spray and a neti pot. Drink plenty of liquids. I hope it clears up soon, feel better.

Coldeeze drops (zinc) I pop one every two hours as soon as I feel sick.

You can also gargle with listerene to keep your throat clean.

During winter, I take elderberry syrup daily to ward off illness.

Hope you feel better soon! It is miserable to be sick on vacation.

Elderberry syrup is a miracle worker! Also, a hot toddy with whiskey, honey & lemon is helpful.

This stuff is AMAZING. I was super sick this morning (my son shared) and I took this as directed and boom! I feel fine now. This is my first step when I feel the dreaded booger disease coming on. Also, neti pot every hour.

I hope you feel better soon.

I use Airbonne at the first sign of a cold. It works to ward off the worst of it. Zia, I'm going to try that too.

I also make a mixture of honey, grated ginger, and chopped lemon (skins and all). It's one lemon, an equal size piece of ginger, grated. I put it in a small mason jar and then pour honey to the top. Let it sit in fridge for a bit then take a spoonful (lemon and ginger included) in a cup of boiling water. I sip it like tea. Works every time.

Zicam works for me. I would also advise taking Airborn gummies for the flight.

Lots and lots of water, and Zink really does help to shorten the duration of a cold! I hope you feel better quick!

I dragged myself to Walgreen's to get supplies. It is a new Walgreen's, just opened here in the past month. I had not been in a Walgreen's in at least three years.

When I entered my OLD phone number from pre-2014 and my CA zip code, it turns out I was able to save $17 from sales and rewards points that I did not know I had. I at least left with a smile on my face.

It's the little things! Now to do nothing but recuperate and pack for the next 53 hours!
