Amazon and Target both have the 10.2" latest generation ipad with wifi and 32 GB at $249. I got the wifi only version. I'm mostly going to use it at home when I teach online, so I figured I didn't need cellular capability.

DH and I both have iPads without cellular capability. No need IMO since I have a phone.

Depends how you're going to use it. I have mine out and about a lot, so I need the cell capacity. I use it far more than I use my phone. my husband's never leaves the bedroom, so he doesn't need it.

I just have wifi. Most places I take it have wifi. If I need to, I use my phone as a hot spot.

32 gig is fine if you are not going to be downloading a ton of stuff or have a million apps. But the more memory the better.
