Spinning Wheel of Death MacBook

My MacBook is 3 years old and seems to be having issues. I have deleted all photos, thinking I don't have enough room? Not sure what it's called. This has not helped with the wheel, any ideas? I hate to buy a new one right now.

Have you forced it off and back on? If that doesn’t work, I’d take it in for repair. You should not have to replace it this soon.

Try Disk Utility

Hit "commond" and "space bar" at the same time. Then type in "disk utility". When that opens, select "first aid" and have it run its repair. See if that helps. It should. I do that whenever the spinning wheel comes up more than normal and it always corrects it.

My MacBook has been super slow, so maybe these tricks will speed mine up, too. I already ran Malwarebits.

Thanks.
