Wow! I've never seen Teacher Tipster before, but I just watched a bunch of the videos! I especially loved the Chart Folders! Brilliant!
Anyway, I've never thought about doing this with a digital frame...but I do it with the screen saver on my computer - choose Marquee and then type whatever you want to scroll across the screen. At the beginning of the year, I put their names, and they LOVE reading each other's names as they come across the screen!
I wonder what else you could do with a digital frame in the classroom!

I wonder if math facts could work as a review on the digital frame? The problem comes up and then the answer so they can check themselves.

I have a digital frame at home. I'm going to try it. I hope nobody steals it!

I've seen this done with a powerpoint presentation as well. My friend, who teaches in a district that supplies each teacher with a LCD projector and laptop, quickly made a presentation with one sight word per slide. Each morning, they take about 2 minutes to go over these words. As it plays they recite the word aloud. This is a great way to review the sight words daily.

My students love Kaboom, Inspector Fix-It, Honey Bunny, just to name a few. He makes learning fun. He has a BIG personality! Love him!!!!!!!

I just finished loading my digital frame with 1st grade sight words. I use the magnetic letters as suggested. I will see how it goes with students in a few weeks!

I love the idea of using math facts as well. Those memory cards are fairly inexpensive and you could have one for each subject (sight words, math facts, vocabulary etc.)

I am excited to implement this idea!
