and have thought that if I ever have cats again I might try one. But, cats can be so finicky. I know one cat that would ride unrestrained in any way on his owner's walker while she walked around the neighborhood. My old cat turned into a puddle on the floor when I tried walking it with a harness--he was having none of it! Good luck, and enjoy your walking companion(s)!

Let us know how this works out. I've been thinking about about getting/building a catio but do worry about squirrels and neighborhood cats upsetting my cats.

I figured with the stroller that I can bring them out to my gazebo or I can bring them out and park them in my vegetable garden as Iím weeding and stuff like that too.

It was funny my friend got one for her little dog and when she posted it I was laughing saying Iím tempted to get one for my cats. Two days later I go to the vet and donít I see a lady with a cat in a pet stroller. Iíve never actually seen one in real life so I figured it was a sign! He was a black and white cat sitting up all proud .

My friend who lives downtown said she saw lots of cats in those during the lockdown .

When I was a little, we had a cat that we would take outside on a harness. He wouldn't walk of course (he's a cat!) but he loved to be out there playing in the grass and such. My mom would go read in the hammock and take him on the leash.

It was great when we could take him out there, but then he would meow for hours on end to go out, and try to bolt out the door as well. Ever since then, I haven't been willing to give any of my cats a taste of the outdoors!

Have you watched Cat People on Netflix? The guy in the first episode has a stroller for two of his cats.

Set it up inside and let the cats play, sleep, and eat in it. Then work up to going outside in it.

Have fun!

I looked too. The one that has a foldable and detachable kennel, screened windows and easy fold up rolling mechanism looks great. I'm tempted

Stroller for dog
Old 07-25-2021, 05:13 AM

I have one for my dog, and I didn't skimp on the model/price!
It has even all these compartments for storage of cups, phone, etc. Most important is that the ride is smooth and sturdy.

It was easy to assemble-7 year old was able to follow the directions.

The cat loves to let the kids take her for a stroll around the house, but not outside.

It is used every day to take the dog for a walk in the neighborhood, and the dog loves it. She expects the ride at the same time each day!

Years ago, had a smaller, less expensive one that did not ride smoothly. It only made my elderly dog's back problem worse. This time I made sure I got one with a smoother and more sturdy ride.

I even placed a small, quite, battery operated fan inside the stroller that pulls in air from one of the mesh openings in the front, so the dog has a cool, comfy ride.

We pamper out pets around here!
One often sees pet strollers, even in stores in this area.

I know you will enjoy your stroller, and your cats will, too!

Got mine from Chewy during a great sale on strollers. Their shipping time is fabulous, only takes about 2-3 days!

Yep, I had a carseat and later got a stroller too for my dog when I had him. It was fun and he was my baby. I wish I had another dog again!
