Clip to ScrapBook #1

April is National Autism Awareness Month.

Just wondering if anyone had any bulletin boards for Autism Awareness month. It's for a kindergarten classroom, I wanted to raise awareness without putting a "name" to the differences.

Has anyone done anything like this with student work?

Thanks for your input.

use puzzle pieces and state that we all are putting the puzzle together piece by piece, or we are part of a team no matter what....

puzzles are great for visual and connecting.

I don't have a board idea but there is a great book called Understanding Sam. It is about a little boy ith Apergers and ha discusion questions in it. You might be able to use it as a started for your board. Hope that helps!
