We finished our state test, AZMerit on Thursday. I am so glad it is over. It was 2 1/2 days of testing for 8 & 9 year olds. Crazy!

I'll bet you're glad it's finished! My 3rd graders take AZMerit on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Then they get a 4-day weekend! Teachers will have full-day prof dev on Thursday, then we get a 3-day weekend!!

I bet you are glad it's over. My 3rd graders have had 3 days of reading last week, and next week is 4 days of math, with the on demand writing the week after that! Way too much testing this age group.

We are taking the SBAC. We tested for 3 hours on Tuesday, and 2 hours on Wed. We still have to finish the second part of the ELA performance task and then have to do the Math part!

It was crazy. We were supposed to test Thurs. morning, but we had a 2 hour delay. So they pushed it to Friday. On Friday, the state website for testing was down so we could not test.

We start on Tuesday and over the next three weeks my students have NINE days of testing. NINE!! We test four days of ELA, three days of math, and two days of science. This is the most asinine thing I've ever heard of. I'm soooo dreading the next three weeks. Revel in your doneness and pray for those who have yet to begin!

We are doing AzMERIT tests Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I'm just curious if students finished in the average time stated, or if they needed a lot longer? We are doing the paper version.

The times I found were pretty close. Your fast finishers will get done at the first time listed 45 minutes and others the 75 minutes. We did the computer version. I was pretty impressed that all 80+ third graders were able to log in and do the tests.
