airline question- HELP

Daughter helped me book a flight for a summer vacation. However she never selected a seat on the plane. So the itinerary says the seats are filled and Delta customer service has a two hour wait time. The email said a seat would be assigned at check- in, but I'm worried about getting bumped or being seated near the bathroom. There are four separate flights: 2 going and 2 returning. Should I be this stressed???

Any advice or words of comfort would be appreciated.

I recently called Delta's customer service and there was an option to put in your phone number and get a call back. We did that and it worked great.

to me a few times and I had a seat when checking in. If you're worried, however, I would call the airline!

Are you looking on Delta's website? If not, visit it.

If there is an option to get a call back, do that. You won't relax until you know. However, they will have a seat for you once you get to the airport. Relax.

I have traveled by plane many times in the past 12 months. Twice I was not able to reserve a seat (unless I wanted to upgrade), and twice I was informed that a seat would be assigned at the gate.

All times at the gate, I was assigned to "upgraded" seats.... Now when I book a flight, I hope there won't be any seats available until check in

As a rule, there ARE seats available, but those seats cost more. They aren't made available until last minute boarding.

I say--- don't stress
