Late night project

Iím sure everyone is getting sick of my projects 😂

I have this thing when it comes to painting- itís actually something I enjoy doing, but I tend to only do it late at night. I started painting this bathroom at 10pm- just finished the final coat 🎉

I couldnít get the walls totally smooth, but they are definitely better. This room had a bunch of textured wallpaper which was painted. Now itís in much better shape to replace the floor/baseboards and vanity!

I enjoy seeing your projects!

Wallpaper removal is not for the faint of heart! I feel your pain, but it was obviously worth it. I love the color.

Enjoy your ďnewĒ bathroom and all your other renovations. You have made the most out of summer vacation.

I canít believe you started painting at 10 p.m. I forgot about the energy young people have. 😉 I remember cleaning late at night. Now I can barely function at 10. I love the color! It is beautiful! Great job!

I love the energy you have for your projects. I don't even have the energy to suggest to husband that he paint.

I love love love every detail you share. Your work is fantastic—and I love that color. Not everything photographs perfectly, so can you also tell us about that color?

I’m so impressed with your projects!

Your projects are inspiring to me - thank you for sharing.

I find it so hard to paint at night because of lighting issues - hard to see if things are even. You do great work at that time of day (or night) though!

Your particular projects impress me!
Your work ethic is commendable and a good example to all of us on what an individual can accomplish with his/her own hands!
You'll be so proud of your work for years to come, especially since you did everything yourself.

Years ago, before selling my home, I repainted every room by myself, working every night after teaching all day. I can relate!

You guys are too much 😂 I actually feel like I have so much less energy than when I bought the house almost 4 years ago! I bought it a few weeks into the school year, and did so much on weekends and at night. Now I reserve my projects to breaks- but Iím also closer to being done. Most of the projects left are the more expensive ones!

The color is Behrís Park Avenue. Iíve grown to really like this color (itís what Iíve used on my whole main floor). Iíve found there are soooo many different kinds of gray- but needed one with a little brown on the main floor cause of the brick. This one is perfect and looks a little different in each section. Last summer I redid this laundry room and used it, and it looks more brown... but the walls in the family room and living room look gray.

I also decided to use a flat sheen even though itís a bathroom since the walls werenít quite as smooth as I wanted 😜

Now this is yet another amazing project the previous owners did 😜 now I have to decide if I just live with it until I replace the floors/vanity... or if I should just paint it out white to live with it!

What a transformation. It really looks good. And while thereís something therapeutic about removing wallpaper, your job went way beyond fun. It is interesting, though, to see all the layers.

As to the vanity...what were they thinking? Paint it for sure. Maybe black or espresso brown.

Iím really not sure- she was obsessed with that color- Iíve found it everywhere... when I scraped the deck it was that color at one point. The garage was that color. The laundry room was that color. My dad jokes that they mustíve gotten a deal on a 5 gallon of it 😂

The kitchen cabinets had a similar paint job, but with white. Why would you only paint the panel? Was that ever a thing?

I would paint the whole vanity white. I love the wall color as it has a really clean look.

I LOVE that color! We did a similar color in our bedroom (Sherwin Williams Palisade). We have black furniture and I really like how it looks!
