Finished The Office... now what?!

I just finished watching The Office. Now I feel a hole in my life. Ok, a bit dramatic, but I enjoyed it so much and the finale was a bit sad IMO.

So what do I watch now? In browsing through Netflix offerings I am debating about Parks and Recreation, Arrested Development, or Schittís Creek. Any thoughts on those or something else I can get hooked on?

I loved Shirts Creek too. The first time I watched it, I stopped after the first episode. After hearing how many people liked it I tried again, and I am so glad I did!

Give it more than one episode.

I also love The Office.

I love love love The Office too! I think you will like all 3! Parks and Rec is super quirky like The Office and there are a lot of seasons. I personally loved Arrested Development but I know people usually really love it or think it's dumb. And Schitt's Creek..can't say enough! So good.

I also really like Brooklyn 99! Enjoy!

My husband and I were watching Parks and Recreation when Netflix cancelled it! I finished the Office as well and also need something new.

If you have Hulu Brooklyn 99 is good.

Arrested Development is one of my favorite shows of all time (I also loved The Office). It is a very specific type of humor that's not for everyone. Totally my sense of humor, though.

I really liked Parks and Rec but didn't love the first season (which is short). I felt like it took a bit for the characters to really get their footing and mesh. If you liked The Office I'm sure you'd like Parks and Rec- just stick with it if you don't like the first few episodes.

I am currently watching Schitt's Creek. It took me a LONG time to get into. I would watch a couple of episodes and then leave it alone for months. I'm now halfway through season 2 and enjoying it, but it's not as good as any of the other above mentioned series, IMO.

Netflix suggestion

I also love the Office, Schitt$ Creek, Parks and Rec (first season not so much).

Here's a comedy I haven't seen suggested yet: Derry Girls on Netlfix.
Only a couple of short seasons but a hoot . Takes place in Ireland. Characters are wonderful, Catholic school girls and the situations they get in.

I had been considering rewatching it. I recently started listening to The Office Ladies podcast and could do each episode with them......

Superstore. There are a lot of great visual gags. The writing is very clever. For you Office fans, check out the deleted scenes youtube. IIMO the funniest deleted scene it Stress Relief part 1.

We are currently rewatching The Office, we just finished Parks and Rec before this and enjoyed it. We also love Brooklyn 99, and before Parks and Rec researched New Girl.

Schitt$ Creek

I have only had Netflix for a couple of months. Schitt$ Creek is funny and takes your mind off of the daily craziness in our world. I found that about 3 episodes into it, I really liked it and the humor got better as it goes along. I am on my last season. I have put off watching because I don't want it to end . (final season). You may have read 3 of the characters are related in real life. Each episode is only 21 or 22 min. long.

Schitt$ Creek:
You are gonna love the last final episode. But prepared to laugh and cry right out loud. It was of the best finales I have ever seen!

for Parks & Rec! I agree with PPs the it takes a few episodes (maybe even the 1st season) for them to get in the groove and reach the full potential but itís a fantastic show! I think when Rob Lowe & Adam Scott joined the cast their characters made the show even better

I also really like Schitt$ Creek. Again I agree it took about 3 episodes for me to get into it but now I really enjoy it!

I started watching New Girl (I'm on season 4 now) and really love it! Of course, I'm more of a Friends, How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory kind of TV watcher. That's my level of humor.

I've rewatched The Office at least 3x...the first few seasons, anyway! Nothing else really measures up, but I do recommend The Big Bang Theory. That comes the closest, imo.

I love all three of those! I'd start with Schitt's Creek and then do Parks and Rec and then Arrested Development I think Parks and Rec is most like The Office.

I'd also strongly consider Community and Eureka, two of our very favorite shows (we're starting Eureka for the 3rd of 4th time right now ). Eureka is on Prime, and I can't remember if we just finished watching Community (for the zillionth time as well) on Netflix or Hulu.
