Clip to ScrapBook #1

Oh my goodness...late last night I realized that yesterday started his new treatment week and I had not mailed a card. The thing is, I had made it ahead of time, which I almost never do. This came from a technique video by Jennifer McGuire: Faux Metal Etching. She used a full background stamp for the etched look. I used a strip for a border.

For the "etched" part of the look, I used VersaMark ink to ink up my Simon Says Stamp Geometric Pattern Builder stamp, stamped, and then used clear embossing powder on it and heated it. This was done on a piece of Tonic Studios Mirror Cardstock in Cobalt Velour. This mirror cardstock comes in a variety of colors and they are just gorgeous.

The center front sentiment is from Divinity Designs (Our Daily Bread Designs) Scripture Collection 13. That was inked with VersMark ink and I used white embossing powder and heated it.

Inside sentiment, Be strong, is from Sweet 'n Sassy God Is Bigger stamp set.

The 3 days of chemo that he does every other week kicks his butt for that week and leaves him extremely tired the next week but itís keeping him clear of cancer.
