The basics for both cards are the same. Kraft cardstock card base, Tim Holtz Kraft-Core Cardstock by Core'dinations, MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangle die, MFT Stitched Rounded Rectangle die. I used sponge daubers to blend a variety (5) Distress Ink colors on Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Cardstock and cut with Poppy Stamps Autumn Leaf and Maple Trio die sets. I put a piece of burlap fabric behind the rounded rectangle opening. I used the rounded rectangle die cut piece flipped over for the sentiment. Photos will follow.

Happy birthday sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Happy stamp set. Inside sentiment, This calls for cake & ice cream! is from Simon Says Stamp Birthday Messages stamp set.

I love the burlap accent. It just really makes a lovely card pop even more.
