I have 19 and one more that is coming before the end of the school year in a few weeks. Is ebd emotional behavior disorders? I have a mix of students with autism, emotional disability, OHI, developmental delays, and sld. I have K and 4th grade inclusion.

I have 33. We have a very transient population so I have written IEPs for 42 students this year.

I just hit 30. In previous years I've had up to almost 50! In my state SPED teachers are "generalists" and we have all disabilities on our caseloads, so I have a mix of SLD, ID, OHI, and ED ("EBD" is just "ED" in my state). Currently 5 of my 30 are ED.

I'm just EBD. My numbers have been between 5-9 this year. I'm K-5, and my students range from full inclusion to full time in my room. I currently have 3 IAs.

I know in area districts EBD classes are capped at 8, but that's not true in my district.

I have 12. It's an ASD (autism) class, severe/self contained.

Currently I have 25 students K-5 Resource pull-out. Their eligibility categories are all over the place--LD, Health Impairment, Autism, DD, and my all time favorite EBD! I'm only losing 3 students to middle school and will be adding 4 by the end of the school year, plus there are 5 more slated for initial evals. Then there are students transferring in over the summer. It could be a banner year--Yikes!

11 in my self-contained Life Skills class. All qualify with ID and most with SI. Two are AU.

There are limits to the number of students you can have on your caseload, but it seems like there's always room for one more.

I have 5 in my self-contained room. All students have ASD and DCD and all have severe behaviors (we are a specialty setting for the most behaviorally severe kids in our large district). Could not imagine a room of 12 with my type of students. Could not imagine a case load of 50 of sped students. May the force be with you.
