Just curious if anyone out there uses a doorbell in their classroom. I've seen post where teachers are using the doorbell for transition times, to switch stations, or to focus their students. I was wondering the pros and cons using a doorbell. Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

I have used one for many years . It is mounted onto a wooden box and is used to transition after each work job time period.

I love my doorbell! The only drawback is that when we are really noisy it isn't loud enough. Usually we're not that loud, though.
I use choosing the ring as a reward. The kids love getting to choose.

I love mine too! I attach the button to my lanyard so the plus is that it is always on me. My kids know to instantly stop & freeze when they hear it. Very effective. I don't use it all the time though. Mainly for clean up time or when things get a bit too noisy. It has many different ringers so I can change up the tune if I want. The volume is super loud so I actually have mine on the lowest setting and it works fine in my small classroom.
