Grammar Question

I want my kids to have a B.E.E. binder for school. However, I think it should be Bring Everything Every Day. What I'm seeing online shows it as Everyday, but I don't think that's correct. What do you think?

I believe Every Day is the correct form, but the original author probably wanted it to be a B.E.E. Binder and not a B.E.E.D. binder. Thus the adapted grammar switcheroo.

Any other ideas for B.E.E. or H.I.V.E.? I don't want incorrect grammar on their binders even if it does fit the acronym better.

Everyday as one word is an adjective used to refer to something like an everyday occurrence. Every day the way you want is two words.

I agree with the pp - adapting grammar to fit the acronym . I totally get why you would do that, but as a grammar teacher, it would drive me nuts to intentionally use something incorrectly!

What about Bring Essential Elements?

I've seen some binders like this:

Bring
Everything
Every Day

I know it ignores the D in Day, but it works if you just go line by line. I like it better than Everyday.

Yup. Everyday is and adjective. In this case you want day to be a noun.
