I sent the video to the princ of the school. My daughter was talked to the next day. Later this week, a position resembling that of said teacher made its way to the "available for transfer" positions in our district. Of course, we know how the "we can not say what we did more than that he was disciplined" comment we routinely get in cases like this, but the job posting was a giant clue as to how that turned out.

I'll go to my original thread and paste the news in. Thanks for reminding me!

What does "available for transfer" mean? I am not familiar with this term.

Did he lose his job, or is he being transferred to another school?

I hope that the P discussed with the teacher how inappropriate his behavior was in front of the kids...I've seen P's who brush the problem under the rug, place the blame elsewhere, and then the person at fault has no idea they THEY were the issue!
Transferring him to a new school won't necessarily fix the problem...but at least he's going to be out of your hair.

It could mean either/or. Basically it means that his position is available for anyone in the district who wants to transfer into it. I wasn't told where he was going. Hopefully, back to Europe.
