I am seeing the process of choosing the teacher of the year is different all over, but IF YOU ARE VOTING, SHOULDN'T THIS BE PRIVATE/ANONYMOUS?

Thanks!

Of course it should. Even though this is mostly a popularity contest.

Contest. Some teachers do a fabulous job and deserve the win. It usually goes to the "club". Teachers that run the school.

Contest. Some teachers do a fabulous job and deserve the win. It usually goes to the "club". Teachers that run the school. Or the husband teacher who cooks at the barbe que and that is his claim to fame.

When all the "club" has won then they change the rules and say it should go to someone who makes a difference. That was the year it went to the school secretary. The next year it goes to a special ed aide who was truly great at the job.

You just need to join the "club" and play the game. You know when you get a new principal and they suck up and run the school. They advise the P how the school runs.
