MS donations Please!!!

The Please help me fight breast cancer post got me thinking.

I will be riding my bike 150 miles on Sept 27th and 28th. 75 mi on sat. and 75 mi. on Sunday. My goal is to raise $350.

I've registered for the MS Bike Tour because I want to do something for the people who have been diagnosed - and because I want to do everything to prevent more people from learning what it means to live with this disease. Today, there is no cure for multiple sclerosis. My mother was diagnosed 19 years ago and my 26 year old cousin was diagnosed last year. I will be riding with that cousin and my father.

Click Donate to Rachel at the top of the thermometer.

Any amount is appreciated even $5!! Please help if you can, it can be done with credit card over the Internet.
Thanks so much!!!!

for supporting efforts to find a cure for MS. I lost my sister this year to MS at the age of 48. She fought a good fight, but with no cure, her 10 year fight came to a very sad end. All of those touched by this disease appreciate your efforts to raise money and awareness.

I am so sorry. My mom is wheelchair bound and fights daily.

I know many families are affected by MS. This is the first year I am riding. I am excited, but out of shape so I need to get moving

My mom died 5 years ago from complications of MS. She had been diagnosed 15 years before that. She was in pretty bad shape at the end.

The MS society is my favorite place to donate.

Good luck!

My dad was diagnosed with MS in 1982, and had to be put in a nursing home in the early 1990's. Fourteen years later he passed away at the age of 50. I found out a few months after his passing that my cousin now has MS.

MS is not only difficult for the person who has it, but also their family members. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about my father, and I often wonder what it would have been like if he didn't get sick.

Hopefully one day researchers will be able to find what causes this crippling desease and find a cure for it. Therefore, others won't have to go through what my father did.

Good luck, I hope that more people become more aware of MS.

My mom was diagnosed with MS when I was in 2nd grade. I know my life would have been different if she didn't get sick. It does really take a toll on the whole family.

so sorry for your losses!!!! I am suffering from MS since I was 15 yrs old now I am 33, but through all the research I have done since, I found out that MS does not cause death. How did it cause death? I am now nervous and confused. Thanks
