How do I hold this Filetastic up?

Clip to ScrapBook #1

I went to the Mardels store today and purchased the Hot Pink Filetastic 12pk Chart for $5 http://www.mardel.com/teacher10.aspx and now I need something to hold it up. It needs to be heavy duty as I have cinder block walls and magnetic chalk boards. I would lik eto attach to a part of the magnetic chalkboard that doesn't get used. I plan on using it like you would use your M-F cart! (there I've said it!) so the pocket may have up to 140 copies in a pocket.

Has anyone used these magnetic hooks at Mardels?
See pic here: http://www.mardel.com/teacher10-3.aspx
Do they really hold up to 13lbs each? Do they slide on a magnetic board?

Or do you think the 3M Command Strips would work?

We don't have Mardels where I live, but your picture looks like they would hold it. Have you thought about Lowe's Hardware and their Heavy Duty velcro?

as well. Last year I put up a cork board for my personal notes from the office and used hooks that are perfect for attaching to cinderblock. I got a package of four from Lowes. They are made of sturdy plastic with four metal prongs that you hammer into the cinderblock. I think they were in the hardware section. Hope they work for you!

to hold my pocket charts like those up. Have only had a problem once, when the classroom got really, really hot at the end of the year. I load them full of copies!

I use Command Hooks for mine and have never had a problem. I also have the magnetic hooks that I use for other things, and I think they are strong enough to hold the Filetastics, too. I LOVE mine, hope you do, too!

The magnetic hooks are awesome and should hold up the Filetastic just fine. I love mine and plan to get more soon. Enjoy
