Clip to ScrapBook #1

I saw on someone's blog where they made the cutest milk crate seats with the ribbon to pull up the seat part for storage. I can't find that blog. Can someone please help me? Thanks!

I don't know how to post the thread but it was sent in by loggerteacher. If you can find his/her posts you will have the directions.

There were a lot of posts on them last summer. You might want to do a search within PT to find them. I made them last summer. I teach 2nd grade and I found the "locker crates" from Walmart which are about half the width of a regular crate. They work just as well and take up less space! Then my friend's husband cut some MDF to size, we used some batting and fabric to cover and staple-gunned it in place. I also stapled the ribbon in a loop from underneath. My kids loved them!

The blog you are looking for with the directions and pictures is What the Teacher Wants blogspot. Look for the posting in July of 2011 called "I Gave In"

I so wanted to make the crate seats but can't talk my boyfriend in to helping me. He said it is too much work and I could just buy it. He just so doesn't get it.
