Making Clip Chart

Clip Chart, if you made a homemade clip chart how did you make it? I was thinking of using colored card stock. But I don't know what type of lettering to use.

I made mine to go with my jungle theme and printed on white card stock. I will also put it on a black construction paper background, tape together and then laminate

I used the following font for mine in all caps

I made one last year and am actually making a new one this year because that one is so faded! Last year I used construction paper and laminated. This year I hope to use something that won't fade!!!

I just made something simple, but it looked nice. I printed the words on white paper and then glued them to colored card stock. I used the measurements that I found via an ebook online. I glued all of the sections together and then laminated the whole thing. I'm not using it this year, but it held up really well all of last year. It is still in great shape.

I made one last year. I used different colors of card stock and glued on my headings and laminated them. I hooked them together with packing tape(on the back), but you could use rings. I am not totally creative, but I found a great resource - check out Christina Bainbridge's site. Go to teachers and then the area for files. Under C she has all you need to make a terrific clip chart! I put a really pretty ribbon on the top and hung it on my bulletin board. Held up all year and I am using it again this year! Thank you to Christina Bainbridge!!!! Love her site.

I found it on this fabulous blog! You need to scroll down to almost the bottom of the page.

And I found the headers at my local teacher store for around $8.00 or they can be ordered online.

It came out really cute and so bright! I will laminate it once I go in to school.
I love it!

I used colored cardstock last year and used a Cricut to cut out the letters. I am really pleased with how it turned out. I laminated it when I was done. Sorry for the glare on the picture!
