must be low odor and easy to erase. Is it Bic, Crayola...Expo? Thanks for your insight!

I love Expo with a sharp, chiseled point with lots of ink! I hate when the kids squish down the point or it gets fuzzy, ugh. I love a variety of colors to add to my board but I do not like yellow. It's too hard to see. O.k. I'm done.

I like Expo markers. Others don't seem to erase as well. I also hate the yellows. The kids always want to use them, but they don't show up. I usually throw them away.

I second Expo. I tried Bic and they do not last.

Did you know each Expo has a second chisel tip? Just pull out the tip using needle nose pliers and turn the tip around. Presto! A little more life for your marker.

what a great thing to know! I am also looking for markers for my kids to use with their whiteboards. I love using individual whiteboards for math and phonics.

Expo only for me. The other brands dry out too quickly and don't erase well.

I was going to post about the needle nose pliers, but someone beat me to it. I just use the pliers to pull the tip out, not turn it around-new project! I love Expo.

Also, we (my coteacher and I) like to store the Expos individually in black socks. They use them as an eraser, they are easily washable, they make it easier to pass out the supplies when we use whiteboards, and they can't see the color, so they can't negotiate with the passer-outer. Ha!

I only keep the yellow for when we need to shade things in, like bars on graphs, or multiplying/dividing decimals models.

My favorite is the Expo Bold. The Expo Low Odor aren't as vibrant.

Expo!!!
Crayola doesn't erase well at all.
Office Depot brand runs out way too fast.
There is nothing like a brand new Expo marker to start a day right!
