Solve and comment:

Marty ate 4/6 of his pizza and Luis ate 5/6 of his pizza. Marty ate more pizza than Luis. How is that possible?

Marty had a large pizza and Luis had a small pizza.

I'm just stuck thinking about the fact that I physically can't eat all those slices of pizza. (Three is my limit and it not easy.)

How is it truly possible for them to eat so much pizza? Who was in charge of providing a well balanced meal for these kids?

My answer is that these must have been extra small and small pizzas.

Would it help if I told you that each ate a quarter of their own pizzas just for the sake of argument? What would be your response?

It doesn't say that they each had a whole pizza at the beginning. It says his pizza.

Interesting that you should point this out. Why do you think this matters?

aren't you enjoying the academic discourse we're having? Why are we so conditioned to see the end? You already know.
