He's coming to Orlando next month! What exactly takes place? Is it like a comedy show?

I saw him last year. I was expecting a comedy show and it wasn't quite like that. It was more like a very engaging PD with extra laughs. He used his regular voice/language (not the "hillbilly" one he does in the videos), explained how the videos got started, and told some backstories for some of them. Then he gave some advice (from what I can remember, mostly about dealing with coworkers and parents) that had a funny slant to it. I enjoyed it; it just wasn't quite what I was expecting. If you need PD hours for your certification, you can also get 3 hours for going.

I saw him outside his school once when I drove by. Does that count?

Seriously, though . . . some of my friends saw him and said it was funny PD.

I saw him in the spring & really enjoyed it. Haley23 explained it well. The gist was that it's on all of us to make our school life the best it can be, for students & teachers.

I say, go for it. It was a fun time & would be energizing for the beginning of the year.

And see him. I went with some friends to see him this July. It was great. He shows video clips and talks a lot about how to change your school climate. It was fun and he had a great message. And the price was great, we paid $20 a ticket.
