I'm going to a Donna Whyte Workshop tomorrow and was wondering if anyone else has gone to see her. It's a make it and take it on learning centers. I'm looking forward to being out of the classroom for a day. Is it worth it? She sounds so enthusiastic Thanks!

I just listened to her for three 1-hour sessions a few weeks ago and took away some good ideas. Ours was not a make-it-and-take-it, but we saw examples of her games and I liked them. She is very much worth listening to!

I am starting to get excited to see her. I think I'll bring my camera.

I read her book "You Can't Teach a Class You Can't Manage" just before I started teaching first grade this year. It really made me consider why I do some of the things I do and the students' perspective of these behaviors. I really enjoyed the book especially since I was able to attend a 1 hour workshop of hers and got a really good feel for her and her techniques for behavior management. She is very down to earth and highly knowledgeable about her craft.

I went to see Donna Whyte last year and I loved her workshops. I also bought a few of her books and they had some great ideas in them. She is a great presenter and had us laughing with her stories about first grade. Have fun!
